hi - thanks for the message. Sorry to have missed keeping in contact -- PC problem. We have been travelers, in the past, when I was an active educator and had financail assistance to attend events. Pension does not allow much now and all the "ventures" are just on paper and I don't know if any will become real. I was introduced to a Cell Phone situation -- http.mywirelessrep.com/arthur -- which I am trying interest people to at least look, or listen to 1-800-313-2904.
Clarksville, Arkansas is a small, very progressive "city" in which I am an active Lion's Club member. My professional musician (concert accompanist, organist, str bass) have minimal outlet; therefore, I am active in two Barbershop Choruses as singer in both and Officer in one. http://www.diamondstatechorus.com and http://www.fsriveblenders.org.
I will have a look into the offerings on the website to the extent that my vision permits .. 75+ yrs eyes do present problems at times.
Very Happy and Safe Holiday to you!
Arthur

Scanning them in and sending them is no problem - should have that done by the end of the week (think I know where they are). Posting them, on the other hand, seems an exercise in frustration (and given the results of both the national and local elections, I can do without additional frustration).

Still have photos from, and sent to, that 'resort' off the coast of South Carolina (might yet post them here)...and remember an interestingly patterned tan attributable to a dress that probably still fits.

Appears to be a bit of a redundancy in the software - I type, I submit, I get an error screen, I reload, and eventually the same comment is posted multiple times - and will not delete.

Won my primary - no great feat as I was running unopposed - and am facing two incumbent dems, a 'green' (originally from Boston) who's more socialist than either of them, and a Libertarian who's not quite as far to the right as I am.

Had to run on what I could raise - no staff, no volunteers, no help at all from the county or national party, and for the last few months, no transportation (the city stole my Jeep, but that's another story entirely) - but I printed my own flyers, got a good deal on business cards and a better one on pocket Constitutions (I never leave home without one), and I spend a lot of time speaking to potential voters one-on-one.

And yes, I'm still 'crazy' - but then, I always have been: It's kept me from going insane (and there's a story attached to that, too). And as I mentioned, a few regrets - not many - primarily the one I let get away (see previous parenthetical comment).
